Starting on December 5, 2011, the daily devotional on the web site will be about the Christmas miracle. The angelic announcements to Zacharias, Mary, and Joseph, the shepherds, the wise men, Simeon, and Anna. The month will end with boyhood and beginning ministry of Jesus Christ.

As of this writing, the church web site has been visited by 6 foreign countries, and 23 states. The newest states to log on are: Illinois, Virginia, New York, Iowa, Minnesota, and Delaware. We have had 24 visits from computers that do not register where in the US they are, and we have had several visits from Israel, though it doesn't show up on the map. The state of Florida has had 28 cities log on, and the top three states for logging on are: Florida, North Carolina, and Georgia.

Greetings from the forest!!

It is hard to believe, but our Share-a-month has come to an end, and the Christmas program is just around the corner.

We love to spend the entire month of November in Thanksgiving. The first Sunday was our Share-a-Melody Sunday. We sang the congregation's favorite songs, and had an instrumental special that consisted of two hammered dulcimers, two guitar players, and a bass player. We also had a ladies duet. The Lord told us to speak to ourselves in Psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in our hearts to the Lord. The next week was Share-a-Missionary Sunday. We had the Murray family from North Carolina come and present their burden to go to Bolivia. They were with us for all services. Brother Robert Murray shared a power point presentation during Sunday School, and he preached in the evening service. There are millions of people in that small area that need the Lord. We thank the Lord for all who go to the world to tell the greatest news on the planet - The Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our church web site has been running well. As of this writing (October 27 -AM) we have had 587 unique visits to the web site. We have had six foreign countries visit. The newest country to log on was the Russian Federation. The other countries are: Slovenia, Japan, Indonesia, Togo, and the Philippines.  In the United States, 17 states have logged on to the website.

We have had so many of our precious church family go home to be with the Lord over the past couple of years. This past year we had several within a few days of each other.

The Media tab on the church website has three selections: Teaching Timeless Truths (our church's radio broadcast on WGCR), Message Series, and Daily Devotional (A five minute devotional based on a theme). There is also a link to the Good old Gospel Song broadcast (which is a 30 minute southern Gospel music program that airs on WGCR).

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
1 John 5:13
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
Romans 3:10
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Romas 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 5:8
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 10:9-10
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
