- We believe in the verbal inspiration and authority of the Scriptures. We believe that the Bible reveals God and the fall of man the way of salvation and God’s plan and purpose in the ages. We believe the King James Bible is the Word of God in English and we use no other versions in the pulpit or ministries of Faith Baptist Church (II Tim 3:16.)
- We believe in the Trinity, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit (a plural unity)
- We Believe that salvation is “by grace” plus nothing, minus nothing. “for by grace are ye save through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God. The conditions of salvation are repentance and faith.
- We believe that men are justified by faith alone and are accounted righteous before God only through the merit of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
- We believe in the visible, personal, and premillennial return of Jesus Christ.
- We believe in the everlasting conscious blessedness of the saved in Heaven and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost in Hell.
- We Believe in the security of the believer (that one who is genuinely saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, has his or her sins forgiven by the precious blood of Christ and is therefor secure in the hands of God alone.)
- We believe in uplifting Christian music based on Eph. 5 and Colossians 3 (Psalms, hymns and spiritual songs.) We believe that the most important aspect of the music is the melody. The melody carries the message, and the message is Jesus Christ.
- While we recognize that there are gifts given to the church (Eph 4), we also acknowledge that the sign gifts (I Cor 12:14) were for the early church and passed off the scene when “that which is perfect is come”. That which is perfect is the whole 66 books of the Bible.
